Area Arrests/Crashes/Incidents 1-16-14

THE CHRISTIAN COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE REPORTS THE FOLLOWING CRASH:

On January 14, Laura L. Farrar, 43, of Waggoner, was eastbound on 900 North Road and did not realize the curve was coming up. Farrar saw the curve to late and began to brake. Farrar left skid marks as she attempted to slow to negotiate the curve. Farrar ran off the road on the right side and ran over a warning arrow sign and then went into the ditch. Farrar came to a stop in the ditch facing east. No injuries reported.

THE TAYLORVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORTS THE FOLLOWING CRASH:

On January 15, Danielle M. Weinert, 26, of Taylorville said that she did not see Cory A. Neal, 19, of Taylorville waiting to turn. Weinert struck Neal. No injuries were reported.

THE PANA POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORTS THE FOLLOWING:

On January 14, Lacy Wood reported an incident of suspected identity theft. The case is under investigation.

After a traffic stop on January 15, Andrea B. Wafford, 35, of Pana was issued a citation for speeding in a school zone.

On January 15, Sarah J. Harlow, 33, of Pana, was arrested on a Montgomery County warrant for failure to appear and a Fayette County warrant for failure to appear. Harlow posted cash bond and was given a court date and time and released.
