THE CHRISTIAN COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE REPORTS THE FOLLOWING ARRESTS:

Joseph S. Lawrence, 34, of 508 South Houston Street, Taylorville, was arrested January 14 for driving on a suspended /revoked license.

Daniel V. Davis, 31, of 3780 Portage Place Apt. 25, Decatur, was arrested January 15 for domestic battery.

THE PANA POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORTS THE FOLLOWING:

Following a traffic stop on January 13, Roland C. Webb, 28, of Pana was issued citations for operating an uninsured vehicle and operating a vehicle with an expired registration sticker.

Following a traffic stop on January 13, Brian K. Durbin, 29, of Pana, was issued a citation for speeding 63mph in a 45mph zone.

On January 13, Pana Police Department was advised by 911 of a hit and run involving a car and a pedestrian at 397 North Poplar. The pedestrian was identified as Joseph Merritt, 55, of Pana and was transported to Pana Community Hospital. Upon further investigation Dirk C. Taylor, 29, of Pana (front passenger) was arrested for aggravated battery for causing the car to hit Merritt. Taylor was transported to Christian County Correctional Center. Case is under investigation pending possible additional charges against Samantha D. Taylor, 28, of Pana (driver).

On January 13, Brent A. Getz, 22, of Pana, was arrested on a Shelby County Warrant for failure to appear. He was transported to Shelby County Sheriff's Office in lieu of bond.

After an incident in Pana, Maggie Zahradka reported on January 14 a violation of an order of protection. Information to be forwarded to the State's Attorneys office for possible charges against Rob C. Zahradka, 39, of Pana.
