Taylorville School Board Reviews District Technology Report

The Taylorville School Board met Monday night. Superintendent Dr. Gregg Fuerstenau started the meeting by thanking the City of Taylorville for their help during the winter storm:

The Taylorville schools had to close for several days due to the inclement weather.

 

The Taylorville School Board reviewed the District Technology Report at their meeting Monday night. Technology Director Chris Kuntzman highlighted some of the changes made in 2013:

Kuntzman noted that one thing the Board may want to consider for the future is proximity cards for their door access systems:

Kuntzman noted that they also upgraded their bandwidth for faster internet speeds at the schools.

 

The Taylorville School Board approved the Taylorville High School Course Handbook. The Board also approved the Stonington Elementary, Memorial Elementary, and Taylorville High School Health Life Safety Reports.

The meeting adjourned at 8:04pm.
