Maddux, Thomas Head To Baseball Hall of Fame

(Cooperstown, NY)  --  Former pitcher Greg Maddux and ex slugger Frank Thomas are making their way to Cooperstown.  The two along with pitcher Tom Glavine [[ GLA-vin ]] were elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame yesterday.  Maddux spent the first seven seasons with the Cubs and 10 total over 23 years in the majors.  He won four straight Cy Young Awards from 1992-94 and is eighth on the all-time wins list with 355.  Thomas was with the White Sox for 16 seasons, winning back-to-back MVPs in 1993 and 1994.  He is 18th on the all-time list with 521 home runs.
