The Christian County Health Department is offering free assistance with health insurance enrollment. The Christian County Health Department is certified and has a licensed counselor, Patricia Buechele, to assist with the free application process.  If you sign up before January 15, you will have coverage starting February 1. Residents in Christian County can enroll for health insurance until March 31.

Illinoisans can apply for Healthcare Marketplace coverage the following three ways:  1) Online, 2) By telephone, or 3) In-person with the help of a trained counselor.   

Residents in Christian County can learn more about their health coverage by visiting www.GetCoveredIllinois.gov or www.Heathcare.gov.  You can get free assistance from a trained counselor at the Christian County Health Department at 902 West Springfield Road in Taylorville by calling Patty for an appointment at 824-4113 extensions 112 or 111.
