The University of Illinois Extension is offering a workshop called “Piston Pushing Fun” on Tuesday January 7 and January 14 from 4:00-5:30 p.m. Willie Hemmingway will teach about the basics of small engine maintenance and repair. The recommended age to participate is 10-18. The workshop will be held at the Christian County Extension office located at 1120 N. Webster St. in Taylorville.  There is no cost for the workshop; however, preregistration is required and class size is limited.  Registration deadline is January 2.

  Registration can be completed online at the Extension Office’s website or call the Christian County Extension office at 287-7246.  The class is limited to 10 youth so register early.
