With Christmas upon us, that means there will be plenty of post-Christmas sales coming up soon. Online stores especially will be running deals that are too good to be true and in some cases they are because those websites are run by scamsters. Public Advocate Mac McGuire tells Regional Radio News some steps you can take to help better protect yourself from scamsters:

McGuire says if you ever come across a suspicious website or get a suspicious phone call or email, you should notify police immediately.
