Area Arrests/Accidents/Incidents 11-25-13

THE CHRISTIAN COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE REPORTS THE FOLLOWING:

ARRESTS:

Cody M. Caraker, 18, of 227 North Monroe Street, Harvel, was arrested on November 25 for burglary.

Brent Richardson, 31, of 351 North Silver Street, Taylorville, was arrested on November 22 for possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Noah B. Sanders, 25, of 104 Airshire Court 4, Stonington, was arrested on November 24 for possession of cannabis and illegal transportation of alcohol.

 

THE TAYLORVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORTS THE FOLLOWING ARRESTS:

On November 23 at 5:13am, Taylorville Police Department officers were dispatched to 830 West Prairie Street in reference to an unknown male standing in a driveway. The male subject was identified as Logan Snow, 23, of Taylorville. The complaints said Snow was just standing in their driveway not responding to any of their questions. An officer could smell a strong odor of alcohol emitting from his breath. Snow was arrested for public intoxication and resisting a peace officer. Snow was transported to Taylorville Police Department, processed and released on a notice to appear.

On November 20 at 1:48am, Taylorville Police Department officers were dispatched to 824 West Poplar in reference to a domestic violence situation with weapons. Following the investigation, Tomra C. Friesland, 31, of Taylorville was arrested for domestic battery.

On November 24 at 2:57am, Taylorville Police Department officers were dispatched to Route 29 in reference to a vehicle parked on he side of the highway. Following to the stop, Briana R. Patton, 28, of Nokomis was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and driving under the influence of alcohol. Patton was taken to Taylorville Police Department and released after posting bond.

On November 24 at 4:40pm, Taylorville Police Department officers were dispatched to 800 West Adams in reference to a domestic violence situation. Following the investigation, a male juvenile was arrested for domestic battery. DCFS was contacted.

 

THE PANA POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORTS THE FOLLOWING:

On November 21, Bill McKinney of Moweaqua reported unknown person(s) gained entry to the storage room of the car wash. Unknown person(s) damaged the bill changer while attempting to gain entry into the back of the machine located inside the storage room. Case is under investigation.

On November 22, Rian N. Nagle, 24, of Pana was issued a citation for driving while license suspended and a citation for operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

On November 22, George "Eldon" Hammond of Pana reported a burglary that occurred at 1005 East Sixth Street (Pana Christian Church). Sometime between 5:00pm on November 21 and 8:00 am on November 22, unknown person(s) damaged a locked office door after entering the church through an exterior steel door. The office was entered but no cash is kept in the church and nothing appeared to be taken during the burglary. The damaged door is valued at $60.

On November 23, Stuart C. Engel, 43, of Olney was issued a citation for speeding 69mph in a 45mph zone.

On November 23, Thomas J. Harkins, 36, of Pana was issued a citation for speeding 65mph in a 45mph zone.

On November 23, Brianna M. Ade reported criminal damage that occurred at 401 East Second Street in Pana. Sometime between 1:00am and 8:30am on November 23, an unknown object was used to break the back glass on her 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix. The vehicle was parked in the drive when the incident happened. The back glass is valued at approximately $500.

After an incident on November 24 at Lot H34 Pana Lake, Desirea L. Napier signed a temporary complaint for domestic battery against Marion B. Bradham, 53, of Illiopolis. Napier reported Bradham pulled her by her hair, slapped her with an open hand to the face, and kicked a space heater causing it to hit her in the face and injured her right eye. Napier reported that she and Bradham have been living together at Lot H34 for approximately 7 months. Bradham was not located and information will be forwarded to Shelby County States Attorney.
