THE CHRISTIAN COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE REPORTS THE FOLLOWING ARRESTS:

Zachary G. Edenfield, 18, of 525 South Walnut Apt. 1, Taylorville, was arrested November 22 for domestic battery.

Sandy Hennessey, 38, of 525 South Walnut, Taylorville, was arrested November 22 for domestic battery.

Thomas Evans, 39, of 215 North Franklin Street, Taylorville, was arrested November 21 for an in-state warrant.

THE TAYLORVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORTS THE FOLLOWING:

ARRESTS:
On November 20, a Taylorville Police Department officer was sent to Krogers in regards to a retail theft. The officer made contact with the employees who advised they had Collin A. Shoemaker, 24, of Taylorville detained for retail theft. The office placed Shoemaker under arrest and transported him to Taylorville Police Department where he was processed and released on a notice to appear.

ACCIDENTS:
On November 21, Michael S. Champley, 45, of Taylorville was southbound in the Marsango Plaza Parking Lot on 902 West Spresser Street, Taylorville. Shannon E. Olinger, 30, of Morrisonville was eastbound in the Marsango parking lot. Champley stated he had left the ATM machine and Olinger stated she was traveling through the parking lot headed for work. Champley and Olinger collided near the USPS mail box. Champley sustained damage to the right front and Olinger sustained damage to the front end. Olinger denied repeated offers for call of medical attention. Champley reported no injuries. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.

On November 13, Jon L. Ruppert, 64, of Taylorville was stopped in traffic near the intersection of Maxwell Street and Springfield Road. Brock M. Wareham, 17, of Taylorville was following behind Ruppert and was not able to stop in time. Wareham struck Ruppert causing damage. Warham had to be towed from the scene. No injuries reported.
