Taylorville Resident Arrested for Meth Manufacturing

A Taylorville resident has been arrested and charged for methamphetamine manufacturing. On Tuesday, the Taylorville Police Department seized a methamphetamine lab along with finished methamphetamine from a residence located at 417 North Ridge Street in Taylorville.

 

41-year-old Thomas B. Parker of Taylorville was taken into custody without incident for aggravated unlawful production of methamphetamine.

 

The Illinois State Police Meth Response Team assisted in the dismantling of the lab along with the cleanup.

 

This arrest comes from an ongoing investigation by the Taylorville Police Department into the unlawful manufacturing of methamphetamine which again has become a problem in this area. The Taylorville Police Department is committed to the investigations into the manufacturing and distribution of methamphetamine along with other illegal drugs and prescriptions.
