Ameren crews have been working through the night to restore power following the storm that went through Illinois on Sunday. Initial reports from Ameren said that thousands were without power including some 2,643 customers in Christian County and almost 3,400 in Montgomery County but those numbers have since gone down. Ameren reports that as of 8:00pm, there are currently 194 customers still without power in Christian County and 2 in Montgmery County. Power has been fully restored in Shelby County.
