Sheriff Kettelkamp: Look Out For Possible Asphalt Scam

Christian County Sheriff Bruce Kettelkamp is asking the public for their assistance with information pertaining to a possible asphalt scam, which may be occurring in the Christian County area.

Recently the Christian County Sheriff’s Office took a complaint of a possible asphalt scam. The complainant stated a male subject came to their house in rural Palmer indicating he was performing paving work on Route 48. The suspect stated that he had left over asphalt and attempted to obtain permission from the homeowner to allow him to pave their drive for a fee. The resident denied the work and the suspect left.

 The male subject was driving a red, 1994 Kenworth, tandem dump truck with Missouri license place 10B8SX. The truck had B&B Asphalt printed on the side.
