Miller said she also heard complaints from several others sometime after the event. The Board agreed that if the group held this event again in the future, that person could not be involved.

The Taylorville Park District Board approved the decision to remove the current Jayne’s Park sign and replace it with one that honors Doctor Henry Jayne. The new sign will read “Jayne’s Park in honor of Doctor Henry Jayne and Family.” Recreation Director Bailey Hancock told the Board that they received a 100% on the health inspection at the Don Braggs concession stand. Hancock says she has also been very busy planning the annual Christmas in the Park event and that everything is near completion.

The meeting adjourned at approximately 7:50pm.
