Type One Juvenile Diabetes is personal for a Pana businessman and his family, and they're doing something about it.
Tim and Jennifer Christer own and operate the Pana Save-A-Lot, and are having a cookout and bake sale at their store this Saturday from 10:30 to 1:30 to benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
Their grade school son Bo takes 5 insulin injections per day, and for Jennifer the affects of the disease have hit home.

Christer told Regional Radio News that this Saturday's fund-raiser at their store is part of an upcoming walk they're participating in for the JDRF.

The public is invited to come out and help the Christer's raise money for Juvenile Diabetes Research. Again it will be at their store, Pana Save-A-Lot, this Saturday from 10:30 to 1:30.
