THE CHRISTIAN COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE REPORTS THE FOLLOWING:

ACCIDENTS:

On September 22nd, David L. Pixley, 59, of Palmdale, California, was traveling north on Route 48 when a vehicle began to stop in front of him. Pixley lost control and out his motorcycle down on the roadway. Pixley was transported to Decatur Memorial Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

ARRESTS:

Michael E. Handy, 50, of 4 East 6th Street Apt.1, Pana, was arrested September 25 for domestic battery.

THE TAYLORVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORTS THE FOLLOWING:

ARRESTS:
On September 25 at 11:53pm, Taylorville Police Department officers were dispatched to 805 East Franklin in reference to a fight. While on scene, Danielle L. Cunningham, 38, of Taylorville was arrested for public intoxication and Matthew Z. Cunningham, 18, of Taylorville was arrested for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor. Both were transported to Taylorville Police Department and released on a notice to appear.

ACCIDENTS:
On September 23, Melissa A. Krug, 27, of Taylorville was traveling east on Bidwell Street and stopped in the right turn lane at the intersection of Bidwell and Cherokee Streets. Roger D. Morgason, 62, of Taylorville was also traveling east on Bidwell Street in a school bus and stopped at the intersection of Bidwell and Cherokee Streets. Morgason was lined up in the straight lane and was attempting to turn right. Both Krug and Morgason attempted to turn right at the same time causing a collision. Both vehicles were able to leave the scene. A passenger in Morgason's bus reported injuries that were not physically evident but was not taken to a hospital. No other injuries were reported.
