Area Arrests/Accidents/Incidents 9-12-13

THE CHRISTIAN COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE REPORTS THE FOLLOWING ARRESTS:

Paul E. Allen, 18, of 209 East Second Street, Rosamond, was arrested September 11 on a warrant for knowingly damaging property.

Lewis E. Brumfield, 40, of 2100 Grand Boulevard A7, Taylorville, was arrested September 11 on a bond forfeiture for theft.

 

THE TAYLORVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORTS THE FOLLOWING ARRESTS:

On September 11, an off duty Taylorville Police Department officer reported Jessica Hebert, 25, of Taylorville, driving. Hebert has a suspended drivers license. An officer observed Hebert driving at Main and Powell and stopped her. Hebert was arrested for driving suspended, processed, and release on a notice to appear.

On September 11, a Taylorville Police Department officer went to 2100 Grand Boulevard and made contact with a male subject Lewis E. Brumfield, 40, of Taylorville that the officer knew to have a valid warrant out of Christian County. The officer ran Brumfield's information through the Law Enforcement Agencies Data System and verified the warrant. Brumfield was placed under arrest and transported to the Christian County Correctional Center in lieu of bond.

 

THE PANA POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORTS THE FOLLOWING:

Keffery L. Cothern, 26, of Pana was arrested September 9 on a Fayette County Warrant for violation of a court order. Cothern was transported to Fayette County in lieu of bond.

On September 9, Pana Police Department officers were called to a loud party at 510 North Poplar Street, Pana. After investigation, Alannah J. Wilderman was arrested for violation of an order of protection. Wilderman was transported to the Christian County Sheriff's Office.

As a result of a traffic stop, Andrew J. Woods of Pana was arrested September 10 for driving while license suspended.

As a result of a traffic stop, Michael L. Wilson, 30, of Watson was charged with speeding 86 in a 45 zone, no valid driver's license and arrested on a Montgomery County warrant for failure to appear for possession of cannabis. Wilson was transported to Christian County Sheriff's Office in lieu of bond.

On September 3, James F. Dean II, 19 of Ramsey was issued two citations for no valid registration and operating a vehicle uninsured.

 

ACCIDENTS:

On September 10, Hannah J. Baker, 17, of Pana struck a parked vehicle that was last driven by Lauren L. Rochkes, 17, of Pana which caused minor damage to both vehicles.


An unknown vehicle was traveling west on 5th street and Derek E. Thompson, 29, of Pana was traveling north on Locust Street. The unknown vehicle ran the stop sign and struck Thompson in the front passenger fender. The vehicle left the scene and continued west on 5th Street. That vehicle is believed to be a green Dodge Ram.
