Nearly 100 seniors and local residents visited the Taylorville Senior Center for a Senior Fair hosted by State Senator Andy Manar (D–Bunker Hill). With assistance from the Illinois Department on Aging and Public Health, along with multiple other state agencies, non-profit senior service providers and local hospitals, the fair offered vital senior services and information in one convenient location.

Manar says they have been hosting these senior citizen fairs throughout the district to help bring state services and health screenings to a location closer to home for most of the district’s senior citizens.
