Taylorville Memorial Hospital Auxiliary Speaks at Kiwanis Meeting

Maureen Maple, Past President of the Taylorville Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, was the scheduled speaker at the Taylorville Kiwanis meeting on Tuesday July, 16th. The Auxiliary began in 1950 with the objective of raising money to help the local hospital. Today it is made up of almost 300 volunteers who donate their time and talents for the cause. They have contributed more than 1.2 million dollars to the hospital. Membership in the Auxiliary is open to anyone with an interest in in the hospital.
