The summer season is in full swing. The City of Taylorville rents lots on Lake Taylorville for the season every year, but because of various expenses in maintenance, the city doesn't realize a profit. In fact, lake lot rental is a money loser for the city, but Mayor Greg Brotherton says the losses are made up in other ways:
