An autopsy was performed Wednseday morning on the remains found by Sangamon County officials June 18.  The autopsy was able to confirm that they are the remains of 57-year-old Timothy Patrick Ryan of Springfield.  There is no evidence of any homicidal injury. At this point, his death appears to be consistent with a suicide. Further testing is being performed and will not be back for several weeks.
