The Auburn resident who was killed in a motorcycle accident yesterday has been identified as 47 year old Timothy Hanson. Hanson was traveling east on Route 104 on the east edge of Waverly when his motorcycle went off the roadway onto the south shoulder for reasons unknown.  Hanson reportedly struck a culvert, went airborne, and landed in a field on the south side of Route 104.  He was pronounced dead on the scene by the Morgan County coroner. There was nobody around when the accident occurred. Someone who was passing by later spotted the wreck and called the police. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
