The Illionois Coalition for Community Services is partnering with First United Methodist Church in Taylorville to offer free meals for children in the area this summer. Children up to and including age 18 are invited to eat. No reservations are needed and there are no income restrictions. Persons over the age of 18 who are enrolled in a state approved educational program for the mentally or physically disable are also eligible to eat. Those who qualify can eat lunch from 12:00-1:00pm at the First United Methodist Church on 200 South Walnut Street every Monday through Friday starting this Monday June 3rd and continuing until August 9th. If you are interested in volunteering, show up anytime from 11:30am to 1:30pm or contact the church office at 824-2782 for more information.
