Shelby County State's Attorney Sends Child Sex Offender to Prison

Shelby County State's Attorney Gina Vonderheide announced Friday afternoon, that Robert Miller was sentenced to 18 months in the Illinois Department of Corrections, for felony Unlawful Residency of a Child Sex Offender. Vonderheide said that in addition to prison, his sentence includes 2 years of Mandatory Supervised Release, formerly known as Parole.

Miller was represented by Shelby County Public Defender Robert Swiney. He was prosecuted by Vonderheide and Assistant State's Attorney Marvin Hanson.
