Cancer Prevention Study at Taylorville High School

 

The American Cancer Society’s Research Program is inviting men and women between the ages of 30 and 65 years who have never personally been diagnosed with cancer to join their Cancer Prevention Study-3. The purpose of CPS-3 is to better understand the lifestyle, behavioral, environmental and genetic factors that cause or prevent cancer and to ultimately eliminate cancer as a major health problem for this and future generations. There will be an enrollment event for the study at the Taylorville High School tomorrow May 21, from 4:00-7:30pm. Cancer Prevention Study Champion Eric Bertoldo told Regional Radio that it is a great way to help out and give back to those who have had cancer:

To enroll ahead of time, go to www.cps3illinois.org. There are limited spots available but they will be accepting some walk-ins.
