Area Arrests/Traffic Accidents 5-17-13

THE CHRISTIAN COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE REPORTS THE FOLLOWING:

ACCIDENTS:

On May 14, 2013 at approximately 4:42 pm, a Christian County Sherriff's Police officer was dispatched to 1700 North just west of Illinois Route 48 for a one vehicle roll over with unknown injuries. The officer arrived on the scene and observed Michael J Rahar, 31, in a black Dodge pickup on its top on the side of the roadway in the ditch on 1700 North. The officer approached the vehicle and found Rahar inside the vehicle unable to get out. Fire and rescue were able to pry the door open, allowing Rahar to exit the vehicle. Rahar refused treatment and requested Kertow for the tow.

INCIDENTS:

On May 16, 2013, Curtis D. Ryen, 42, of Taylorville telephoned the Christian County Sheriff's Office to report unknown subject(s) took some lumber from a C.E.F.S. project site, located in Hewittville. The subject(s) removed 38 - 1x4x8 pieces of lumber. The incident occurred sometime between 11:00am on May 15 and 9:00am on May 16.

ARRESTS:

Alic D. Vandermaiden, 19, of 409 Beech, Kincaid was arrested on May 16, 2013 for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of cannabis.

Micahel McCallister, 44, of 203 W Boyd, Langleyville was arrested on May 16, 2013 for criminal damage.

Michael J Ralston, 24, of 304 Chestnut St., Pana was arrested on May 17, 2013 on a bond forfeiture for failure to appear.

Frederick J. Tremain, 36, of 222 E. Palmer St., Taylorville was arrested on May 17, 2013 for domestic battery.

 

THE TAYLORVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORTS THE FOLLOWING ARRESTS:

On May 16, 1013 at 10:22pm, Taylorville Police Department officers were dispatched to Domino's to reference of a battery that had happened in the area. Frederick J. Tremain, 36, was located and arrested in the 900 block of W. Vine Street.

On May 16, 1013 at 5:22pm, a Taylorville Police Department officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle at Sangamon and S. Houston. The owner of the vehicle, Amber D. Ginger, 28, had a suspended driver's license. Subsequent to the stop, Ginger was cited for driving while license was suspended. Ginger was released on a notice to appear on scene.
