Cindy Diss was the scheduled speaker at the Taylorville Kiwanis Club on Tuesday. She is in charge of a program called Kids For Christ through the Taylorville First United Methodist Church. It’s a non-denominational religious program for any child from Kindergarten through the 5th grade. The children are picked up directly from school and immersed in a bible lesson, a craft, and a game. The bible lesson is usually acted out in a skit using professional grade hand puppets. Cindy entertained the club by demonstrating the use of the hand puppets.
