The Taylorville School Board announced at its most recent meeting that the vacant West School property has been sold. Dr. Greg Fursteneau, district superintendent, says everybody seems happy with the terms of the deal:

The district recently announced the closure of South School as a cost-cutting measure. The State of Illinois is millions of dollars in arrears to the district.
