THE CHRISTIAN COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT REPORTS THE FOLLWING:

Mondale Jamison, 30, of Gary, Indiana was arrested on March 14 on a original arrest warrant for driving with a suspended license.

Edgar F. Huerta, 19, of 409 Taylorville Blvd., was arrested on March 14 for consumption of liquor.

Christopher W. Maltby, 23, of 311 West Lincoln, Edinburg, was arrested on March 15 for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol.

On March 15, 2013, a Christian County Deputy was dispatched to a call of a vehicle that had wrecked on Houston Street near the 1500 block.  When he arrived, he found the vehicle had hit the house at 1421 S. Houston.  There were no injuries and a subsequent investigation led to the driver, Christopher W. Maltby, 23, of Edinburg, being arrested for DUI. 

THE TAYLORVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORT THE FOLLOWING:

On March 14, at approximately 9:35 am, a Taylorville Police Officer observed a vehicle with an equipment violation in the area of Shumway and Third Street.  The vehicle was stopped and the officer made contact with the driver, Mondale Jamison, 30, of Gary, Indiana.  Taylorville Police Department learned through Law Enforcement Agency Data System that Jamison had a valid warrant for his arrest and his drivers license was suspended.  He arrested, transported to the Taylorville Police Department, processed and lodged in the Christian County Correctional Center in lieu of bond.

TRAFFIC:

Mary L. Searcy, of Taylorville was stopped at the stop sign and entered onto South Spresser Street pulling in front of Sherri J. Waterman, time to avoid hitting Searcy.
