Area Arrests/Traffic Accidents 3-11-13

THE CHRISTIAN COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT REPORTS THE FOLLOWING: 

Rudy J. Copelin, 38, of 2 East 4th Street, Pana, was arrested on March 8 for domestic battery.

Logan A. Snow, 22, of 1347 N. 940 East Rd., Taylorville, was arrested on March 8 on an original arrest warrant for domestic battery. 

Mary J. Mize, 36, of Assumption, was arrested on March 8 on an original arrest warrant for possesssion of drug paraphernalia.

Karen M. Jones, 44, of 520 East South Street, Shelbyville, was arrested on March 9 on an original arrest warrant for unspecified statute. 

Charles M. Carron, 23, of 705 East Elm, Taylorville, was arrested on March 9 for domestic battery and possession of cannabis.

Jacob R. Conaway, 21, of rural Edinburg, was arrested on March 9 for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Alexander B. Shanks, 19, of 811 East First Street, Pana, was arrested on March 9 on a bond forfeitre warrant for unspecified statute.

Clint A. Emery, 21, of San Antonio, Texas, was arrested on March 10 on a bond forfeiture warrant for endangering the life of child. 

 

THE TAYLORVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORT THE FOLLOWING CALLS:

On March 8, at 4:39 pm, Taylorville Police Officer located Logan A. Snow, 22, of Taylorville, at the Christian County YMCA.  The officer kniw there was a valid warrant for him in Christian County.  The warrant was confirmed through the Law Enforcement Agency Date System.  Snow was placed under arrest and transported to the Christian County Correctional Center.

On March 9, a Taylorville Police officer was dispatched to 60 Hannon Trailer Ct. in reference to criminal damgae to property.  Alecia Houston said she saw her boyfriend slash her and her roomates tires.  Brian T. Scott, 27, of Taylorville, was arrested and transported to the Taylorville Police Department and was released on a notice to appear.

On March 10, in the early morning hours, officers were dispatehed to 705 E. Elm in reference to a loud party.  Officers knew Clint A. Emery, 21, of Taylorville to have a valid Christian County warrant which was verified through the Law Enforcement Agency Data System.  Clint Emery was arrested and tranported to the Christian County Sheriff's Office. 

On March 11 at 12:35 am, officers initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle.  Matthew D. Neece, 35, of Taylorville, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, and operating a vehicle with out headlights.  He was transported to the Taylorville Police Department for processing and released after posting cash bond. 

TRAFFIC:

On March 8, Norma M. Bota of Taylorville and Angelene D. Radbideau, of Tovey, were in the 100 block of West Market, Taylorville which is a two laned one way street.  Bota was backing from the parking space.  Rabideau slowed/stopped in traffic waiting on vehicles ahead.  Bota backed into Rabideau in the roadway.  Bota received damage to the left rear of her 1990 Cadillac Coupe and Rabideau received damage to the passenger side door of her 2003 Chevrolet truck.  No injuries were reported.  Norma Bota was issued a citation for improper backing.
