THE TAYLORVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORTS THE FOLLOWING:

On March 5, at 9:44 pm, officers were dispatched to 2100 Grand Blvd., in reference to to a male subject holding a female subject down in the parking lot.  Officers arrived and subsequent to investigation, Nickerlos O. Roland, 27, was arrested for domestic battery and resisting a peace officer.  He was transported to the Christian County Correctional Center.
