Wednesday, the Taylorville Police Department conducted a Tobacco Compliance Check. Casey's General Store east at 401 N. Cheney was found to be in violation. The cashier, 52 year old Debra Thompson of Taylorville was issued a City Ordinance Violation for sale of tobacco to a minor.
