 width=

Central Illinois is digging out from 4 to 7 inches of snow, plus a thin coating of ice on top of the snow.

Temperatures this morning are hovering around the freezing mark and are expected to climb into the mid 30's during the day.

As of 7:30 this morning, the National Weather Service in Lincoln had lifted the winter weather advisory for most of the counties in the Regional Radio listening area.

Counties that remain in a Winter Weather Advisory until 10 o'clock this morning include Macon and Moultrie, and counties to the north and west.

The weather this weekend is expected to be quiet, with sunny skies and temperatures in the mid to upper 30's.
