The future of Taylorville Schools is not in a good place right now as the State of Illinois keeps pushing back payments to the Taylorville School District.

Taylorville Schools Superintendent Dr. Gregg Fuerstenau says that state is continuing to give schools less and less.

Many programs have had to be cut because of the reduced state funding including tennis and the bowling programs. The bowling program was brought back though, by a private donor.
