For the second time in the last month the Ball-Chatham school district has gone on lockdown. Last month, the day after the Newtown tragedy, the district also went on lockdown after an empty shell casing was found in the hallway of Glenwood Middle School.

The lockdown today was prompted by a bullet being found in the parking lot of the high school. The high school and the adjacent elementary school were both put on this "soft" lockdown until 12:10 pm when the Chatham Police Department gave the "all clear".
