>>Packers Beat Bears To Clinch NFC North Title

(Chicago, IL)  --  Jay Cutler finished 12-of-21 for 135 yards with a TD and an interception as the
Bears fell to the Packers, 21-13.  Chicago's third loss in-a-row helped Green
Bay clinch the NFC North Division title.  Matt Forte had 20 carries for 69 yards
and five catches for a team-high 64 yards as the Bears fell to 8-and-6.  The
Bears head to Arizona to play the Cardinals next week.

>>Vikings Rout Rams

(St. Louis, MO)  --  Adrian Peterson rushed for 212 yards and a touchdown to lead the Vikings to a 36-22 rout of the Rams in St. Louis.  Sam Bradford finished 35-of-55 for 377 yards with three TDs and one
interception for the Rams, who had their three-game winning streak snapped and
fell to 6-7-and-1.  Steven Jackson had 13 carries for 73 yards in defeat.  The
Rams head to Tampa Bay to face the Buccaneers next week.

>>Illinois Cruises By Eastern Kentucky

(Champaign, IL)  -- As heard on Newstalk 97.3 WTIM, Illinois glided to a 66-53 win over Eastern Kentucky yesterday at Assembly Hall.  Brandon Paul had 17 points and nine rebounds to lead the 10th-ranked
Illini, who moved to 12-and-0.  The Illini face Missouri at Scottrade Center on
Saturday.

>>NHLPA Begins Vote On Disclaimer Of Interest

(New York, NY)  --  The NHL Players' Association began to vote on whether to allow the executive
board to file a disclaimer of interest yesterday.  It would be the first step in
dissolving the union.  All 700-plus members of the NHLPA will have the chance to
vote through Thursday and would need two-thirds majority for the motion to
pass.  On Friday, the league announced a class action complaint in New York and
Federal Court to uphold the lockout.
