The Taylorville boys and girls basketball teams now know where they will playing in their regionals.

The Taylorville Boys will be playing in the Mattoon Regional. That regional includes Mattoon, Charleston, Mt. Zion, Decatur Macarthur and Taylorville.

The Taylorville Girls will be playing in Mattoon as well. The Mattoon Regional for the girls team includes, Shelbyville (Coop), Mattoon, Mt. Zion, Charleston and Taylorville.

The Taylorville Girls are 6-4 on the season and 2-4 in CS8 play including two, 2 point losses to Chatham Glenwood and Rochester.

The Taylorville Boys are 5-1 on the season and 0-1 in CS8 play with their only loss coming at home against Lincoln with a score of 66-36.

IHSA Girls 3A regionals are scheduled to start on February 11th and IHSA Boys 3A regionals are scheduled to start on February 25th. The seeding for the girls regionals will be determined on January 24th and the boys seeding will be determined on February 7th.
