>>Bulls Battle Pistons Tonight In Detroit

(Auburn Hills, MI)  --  The Bulls wrap up their brief two-game road trip tonight in Detroit against the
Pistons.  Chicago has won three of its last four games following Wednesday's
95-85 victory in Cleveland.  The Bulls sit at 9-and-8 on the season.  The
Pistons are 6-and-14.

>>Bears, Vikings Look To Reverse Course

(Minneapolis, MN)  --  NFC North rivals square off for the second time
in three weeks as the Bears battle the Minnesota Vikings Sunday at the
Metrodome.  The Bears have lost three-of-four to fall to 8-and-4 on the season. 
The Vikings are 6-and-6.  The Bears beat the Vikings 28-10 in Week 14 in
Chicago.

>>Rams, Bills Look To Keep Slim Playoff Hopes Alive

(Orchard Park, NY)  --  The St. Louis Rams and Buffalo Bills look to keep their slim playoff
hopes alive when they meet Sunday at Ralph Wilson Stadium.  The Rams beat the
49ers 16-13 in overtime last Sunday for their second straight win.  St. Louis is
now 5-6-and-1, but will play three of its final four games on the road.

>>NHL Rejects Players' Offer; Talks Suspended Indefinitely

(New York, NY)  --  The NHL has rejected the latest offer from the Players'
Association and talks between the two sides have now been suspended
indefinitely.  The sides met for an hour after meeting for nearly 20 hours over
the previous two days.  The sides reportedly exchanged proposals on Wednesday. 
The NHLPA then submitted a counter-offer on Thursday, but the owners quickly
shot it down.

>>College Basketball Roundup

(undated)  --  In local college basketball action tomorrow, number-14 Illinois goes up against number-ten
Gonzaga on the road.  Both teams are 8-and-0.  Missouri hosts Tennessee State
looking to improve to 8-and-1.  Saint Louis is off till December 15th.
