>>Illini Down Georgia Tech in ACC/Big Ten Challenge

(Champaign, IL)  --  Illinois defeated Georgia Tech, 75-62, at Assembly Hall in the ACC/Big
Ten Challenge behind 15 points from Brandon Paul and Joseph Bertrand.  The
victory moved the Illini to 8-and-0.  They try to stay undefeated to Tuesday
when they host Western Carolina.

>>Bulls Rout Mavs

(Chicago, IL)  --  Luol Deng scored 22 points to
lead the Bulls to a 101-78 rout of the Mavericks at the United Center.  Joakim
Noah posted 13 points, 10 rebounds and five assists, while Jimmy Butler also
netted 13 points for the Bulls, who have won two-of-three since a three-game
skid.  Chicago hosts Philadelphia on Saturday.

>>Sosa, Bonds, Clemens On Ballot For First Time

(New York, NY)  --  The most controversial Hall of Fame ballot in baseball history is now in the hands of the
voters.  Clouded by allegations of steroid use, sluggers Sammy Sosa and Barry
Bonds and pitcher Roger Clemens are among the first-time eligibles on the 2013
ballot unveiled yesterday.

>>Brandon Marshall: Some NFL Players Use Viagra To Get Ahead

(Chicago, IL)  --  Bears wide receiver Brandon Marshall may have caused a little bit of a stir when discussing how NFL players try to stay in top shape.  Marshall didn't tell reporters how he found out NFL
players were using Viagra as a performance enhancer.  He says he's got the size
and brains to avoid using any performance enhancers to get an edge on the field.


>>NHL, Union Meet With Federal Mediators

(Washington, DC)  --  The NHL and the Players' Association met with federal mediators on Wednesday
in an attempt to spur negotiations towards a new Collective Bargaining
Agreement.  NHLPA executive director Donald Fehr said the discussions are
expected to resume on Thursday.
