On the ballot November 6th will be a referendum concerning the formation of an electric aggregate. The intention is to get a lower rate on electricity.
Dave Titus of Simec Corporation says the aggregates historically have saved people money.

The proposed aggregate would not cost Ameren any money since they do not profit from the sale of electricity. If the referendum passes, any Ameren customer would be eligible.
