On August 8th the Taylorville Police Department conducted random alcohol compliance checks with a number of businesses. All but one business were found to be in compliance.
The only business during the checks that was not in compliance was Kriegers. Brittany L. Kuhns 27, of Taylorville and an employee of Kriegers, were arrested for the sale of liquor to a minor. Kuhns was released on a notice to appear.
