Christian County 4-H Clover Club Helps Out the Troops

 width=The Christian County 4-H Clover Club has been helping out the troops. Linda Blakely the leader of the 4-H Clover Club says that the club sold some items at the Christian County Fair.

Three members of the club will be at the Illinois State Fair on Friday representing Christian County those members are Brooke Bates, Alli Richards and Tanner Mickey.

Other 4-H members that participated include Chloe Grant, Connor Grant, Judd Bates, Claire Hunt, Drew Mickey, Grace Blakely, Joel Blakley, Christine Curvey, Joey Curvey, Meredith Thomas, Jacob Thomas, and Sarah Wright. All the proceeds that the 4-H Clover Club received will go to Soldier’s Angels.

Someone else who participated with the 4-H Clover Club selling those items is Rebecca Wiggins. Wiggins also had a project of her own. Wiggins has been doing a project that can help provide soldiers laptops that they need.

Wiggins says that the laptops are voice activated.

The project Wiggins participated in is called Laptops for Wounded Warriors.
