Several Central Illinois municipalities, including Springfield, have passed or are considering ordinances that limit tanning for teens.

Taylorville Mayor Greg Brotherton says he does not think we need such an ordinance in Taylorville.

It would be difficult for Taylorville to pass such an ordinance anyway because of the Home Rule laws.
