The Taylorville Main Street Committee is holding their annual Bar-B-Que, Blues and Cruise Festival at the Christian County Fairgrounds until eleven o’clock tonight.

Event organizers are going for more of a family festival atmosphere this year, along with a lot of BBQ judging taking place thru-out the afternoon and evening.

There is a bouncy village for the kids, laser tag for teenagers, and a backyard BBQ competition along with free live entertainment from “Bumblebee” Bob Kamoske, the Debbie Ross Band, and Screamin’ Vatos.

The Taylorville Main Street Bar-B-Que, Blues and Cruise Festival is their largest fund-raiser of the year, with the proceeds going into bettering the downtown Taylorville area.  The public is invited to attend, and again the event continues until 11 o’clock Saturday night.
