Christian County is getting a new phone referral service that is funded by the United Way of Christian County. 2-1-1 will be available to help citizens of Christian County 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Karen Zangerle Executive Director of PATH says that the program will go in depth to see how they can help citizens.

Zangerle says that they hope to get the program started in October.

The 2-1-1 service is currently used in 86% of the country with the only 2 states not fully utilizing 2-1-1 services being Arkansas and Illinois.
