>>Cardinals Start Second Half

(Cincinnati, OH)  --  The St. Louis Cardinals are back on the diamond this evening as they kick off the second
half of their season with a three-game series against the Cincinnati Reds.  Adam
Wainwright goes up against Mat Latos [[ LAY-tohs ]] in the opener.  The Cards
finished the first half in third place in the NL Central at 46-and-40.  They are
just two-and-a-half games behind Pittsburgh atop the division standings.

>>Cubs Kick Off Second Half

(Chicago, IL)  --  The Chicago Cubs are back on the diamond this afternoon as they open up a three-game series against the Arizona Diamondbacks at Wrigley Field.  Paul Maholm [[ muh-HALL-um
]] gets the nod opposite Ian Kennedy in the opener.  The Northsiders ended the
first half in fifth place in the NL Central at 33-and-52.  They are just a
half-game ahead of Houston and 15 games back of Pittsburgh atop the division
standings.

>>White Sox Back In Action

(Kansas City, MO) --  The Chicago White Sox are back in action this evening as they kick off the
second half of their season with a three-game series against the Kansas City
Royals at Kauffman Stadium.  Jose Quintana goes up against Bruce Chen in the
opener.  The Southsiders ended the first half in first place in the AL Central
at 47-and-38.  They are three games ahead of Cleveland.

>>Bears Raise Ticket Prices
(Chicago, IL)  --  The Chicago Bears have significantly raised single-game ticket prices.  Last year, the cheapest ticket was $74.  This season, the cheapest single-game ticket is $101.  Every single
game ticket will be $25 more expensive than a season ticket price.  Soldier
Field has the smallest seating capacity in the NFL at around 61,500.


>>Bulls Prep For Las Vegas Summer League
(Las Vegas, NV) --  The Chicago Bulls are back on the court next week as they open up their Las
Vegas Summer League schedule.  The Bulls square off against the Boston Celtics
on Tuesday at Cox Pavilion in their opener.  Chicago also plays summer league
contests versus Houston, Golden State, Los Angeles Clippers and Milwaukee next
week.
