Officers were sent to Taylorville Memorial Hospital in regards to subjects getting into a vehicle in the parking lot. Officers met with Taylorville Memorial Hospital security guards in the 500 block of East Elm Street.

Security had followed the juvenile subjects to the area. One juvenile ran from the scene, the other was a 13 year old male juvenile was placed under arrest and items were recovered.

The 13 year old male juvenile was transported to the Taylorville Police Department processed and released to his father.
