The BP Shop in downtown Taylorville celebrated Customer Appreciation Day yesterday, and was also admitted into The Greater Taylorville Chamber of Commerce with a ribbon cutting ceremony.

Mike Patel the owner of the BP Shop since late January says that the Customer Appreciation Day is to thank customers for their business.

Patel also says that being in The Greater Taylorville Chamber of Commerce will be a good resource.

Patel says that many new things have been added to the shop since he took over ownership in late January.
