Peoples Bank & Trust, Taylorville High School and Altamont High School announce a new initiative to bring financial literacy education to high school students in Taylorville and Altamont by providing them with access to the EverFi Financial Literacy Platform.
John Gardner the President and CEO of People’s Bank and Trust says that it is important that students make good financial decisions.

Gardner also says that this course could not be possible in the past due to the new technology available.

The course will uniquely track the progress and score of every student and provides students who successfully completes the course with Certification in Financial Literacy, a valuable mark of distinction on college applications and resumes.
