Afterward Taylorville Athletic Committee Chairman Seth McMillan talked about how split the community is on Taylorville changing conferences.

McMillan also talked how both sides were very valid in their points with the biggest con of moving to the Apollo conference would be the additional miles that would need to be traveled.

The biggest pro for switching conferences would be the opportunity to once again be competitive with schools of like size from towns with similar backgrounds and economics.

He also expressed that the full board would discuss the proposal in length at Monday’s regular board meeting.
