Art After Dark for Children at the Illinois State Museum

On March 16, children ages 8-11 will have an opportunity to create “Art After Dark” at the Illinois State Museum. Participating children will make recycled paper, create papier-mâché art, learn about printmaking, and explore the On & Of Paper exhibition.

Campers will also have time to play in the Play Museum and sleep under a giant oak tree in the Museum’s natural history exhibit. A late-night pizza snack and breakfast will be provided. The program will end at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 17.

Registration is required by March 12.  For more information on fees and registration contact Elizabeth Bazan at at ebazan@museum.state.il.us or 782-5993.
